Young People's Links
THT young gay men’s site Loads of really useful information if you are a young man who is gay, bisexual or exploring his sexuality. Information includes sexual health, the scene, relationships and coming out.
Freedom Youth is a brilliant youth project based in Basingstoke. The project is for any young person under 25 who is gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans or exploring their sexuality. This site won an award a Hampshire County Council award in 2004 for the way it engaged young people.
BGiOK A support and advice website for gay youth. bgiok aims to answer questions about sex, coming out and dealing with homosexual feelings. The site has a problem page, dedicated coming out section, advice and information articles, links and more.
Homophobia Links
The Wired for Health site will give you access to the PDF version of the national schools homophobic bullying guidance ‘Stand Up for Us’. This site also has supplementary materials for you to work through this guidance with your organisation. This is an absolute must for anybody working with young people. Hard copies of ‘Stand Up for Us’ can be ordered from E4D. (Limited Stock available)
True Vision This website is designed to help people report hate crime in an easy way. Hate crime can be reported by a third party or anonymously. This site has fantastic support information about what to do if you are a victim of hate crime. The focus is hate crime against gender, sexuality, race or religion.

The THT (Terrence Higgins Trust) national website has loads of great sexual health information. It has great sections for gay men and information for people living with HIV.
The CHAPS (Community HIV and AIDS Prevention Strategy) website which is linked to a national theme that you may have seen in gay magazines or in venues. Previous campaigns have included PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis), condoms, chain of infection. This site is worth checking out for good quality information, support and advice.
Website for the London based GMFA. Information about groups and workshops for gay men as well as loads of brilliant sexual health information support and advice. Check this site out if you are looking for information about social groups for gay men as they have a fantastic directory of social groups and clubs.
Stonewall is a fantastic national organisation who tirelessly campaign for the equal treatment and rights of the gay community. There website has loads of up to date and clear information about all aspects of support for the gay community. Information includes civil partnership information, workplace information, education for all and loads more.
FFLAG - Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity which provides support to parents and families of lesbian, gay and bisexual people.
